Luke Banbury emerging as a high-impact linebacker for William & Mary
Banbury is trending as a disruptive, tone-setting LB for William & Mary, earning CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors after a strong performance against North Carolina A&T in the 2025 season. That kind of recognition points to a player who can swing games with physicality, instincts, and game-changing production rather than just piling up routine tackles. He looks like a fit for a defense that values effort, contact, and playmaking from the second level.
