Penn State gets a sturdy, high-floor tackle in Mason Bandhauer
Mason Bandhauer enters Penn State as a consensus three-star offensive tackle with solid size, strong in-state-style football toughness from Colorado, and a profile built on reliability more than flash. In the 2025 high school season, he helped Fort Collins average 232 rushing yards per game and earned first-team All-Conference honors in 2023, while recruiting services placed him among Colorado’s top prospects and a top-65 national tackle. The fit is appealing: he brings length, competitiveness, and developmental upside for an offensive line that values nasty, physical edge-setting.
