Robert Sasser III brings legit lefty pop and freshman upside to Delaware State
In the 2026 season, Delaware State freshman OF Robert Sasser III entered the Hornets’ roster as a 6'1" outfielder with a real physical foundation and evaluated bat-speed/power tools; Prep Baseball Report measured him at 73.6 mph bat speed, a 101 mph max exit velocity, and 88.5 mph average exit velo, which points to impact contact when he’s on time. He looks like a developmental fit for a team betting on upside, strength, and offensive ceiling over instant polish.
