Versatile infield depth for NIU
Olivera is a young Northern Illinois infielder with a true utility profile at **MIF/3B**, giving the Huskies flexibility and defensive coverage across the left side of the infield. Publicly available 2025 NIU stats show limited on-field production so far, so her value is more about projection than box-score output. Recruiting coverage described her as a **plus-plus speed** player with quickness out of the box and on the bases, which can translate into run creation, pressure on defenses, and disruptive pinch-run or small-ball upside. She looks like a fit for teams that value athletic, multi-position depth and upside development rather than immediate power numbers.
