Allison Hoppe gives Iona a proven starter with swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Allison Hoppe has been a key part of Iona’s pitching staff, posting a 3.66 ERA and 10 wins while helping anchor a team that closed the year with a strong conference showing. She brings a legitimate difference-maker profile: a former no-hitter/perfect-game type arm with the competitive edge to work deep into games, plus enough poise to handle high-leverage innings. The biggest fit question is command—her 2026 line includes walks alongside strikeouts—but if your team needs an experienced right-hander who can compete, take the ball often, and deliver headline-level outings, she’s the kind of pitcher worth valuing.
