High-Impact Forward with Elite High School Dominance and 50% FG Efficiency
TJ Massenburg is a forward for Middle Tennessee State whose 50.0% field goal percentage and 1.2 rebounds per game in the 2025-26 season reflect a high-efficiency, low-turnover style, though his limited college stats (0.8 PPG, 0.1 AST) suggest he's still developing into a primary role. His true differentiator lies in his explosive high school pedigree: as a senior at Shiloh HS, he averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 blocks per game, earning All-Gwinnett County honors and showcasing elite intensity, defensive presence, and physical dominance that stats alone can't capture. With a personality marked by relentless work ethic and a history of high-volume production, Massenburg is a high-upside fit for teams needing a versatile, defensive-minded forward who can thrive in the paint and elevate with intensity. While not yet a stat leader, his differentiators—intensity, defensive versatility, and proven high-school dominance—make him a compelling developmental asset for teams valuing grit and potential over immediate scoring output.
