Campbell Schaen brings swing-and-miss upside in the circle for Charleston
Schaen is a sophomore right-handed pitcher for the College of Charleston who already showed useful depth value in 2025, appearing in 21 games with 37.0 innings and 27 strikeouts, and she has continued to factor into the Cougars’ pitching plans in 2026.[1][6][8] Her appeal is profile-based as much as stat-based: at 5'5", she has to win with command, competitiveness, and deception rather than pure size, which can make her a good fit for teams looking for a tougher, high-usage arm who can compete in multiple roles.[1]
