Texas’ ultra-efficient two-way wing who did everything but sell popcorn
In the 2025-26 season, Dailyn Swain was Texas’ do-everything engine: he averaged 17.7 points, shot 55.4% from the field, and earned SEC Newcomer of the Year plus All-SEC Second Team honors. He also brought real disruption defensively, piling up 1.9 steals per game early in the season and finishing with 59 steals and 11 blocks across 36 games. The appeal is obvious: a long, physical 6'8" wing who scores efficiently, guards multiple spots, and plays with a high-gear intensity that helped make him a first-round NBA Draft pick.
