TJ Johnson is VMI’s high-volume two-way wing with real run-the-offense scoring juice
In the 2025-26 season, TJ Johnson emerged as one of VMI’s biggest engines, averaging 18.4 points per game while ranking among the Southern Conference leaders in minutes (35.4 per game), defensive rebounds (5.4), and steals (1.5), and he also launched 301 threes, the most in the nation, with 107 makes, fifth nationally. He brings shot-making, toughness, and a relentless motor; VMI’s own coverage also noted 14 games of 20-plus points and a Player of the Week nod. If your team wants a durable, high-usage wing who can create offense and compete defensively, he’s a very real fit.
