Versatile Guard Thriving Internationally After Hofstra Success
The Bronx native has evolved into a dynamic two-way guard since his Hofstra days, showcasing elite playmaking and perimeter shooting on the international stage. In the 2025 FIBA Europe Cup, Buie dropped 38 points with 8 three-pointers and 7 assists for Dinamo BDS Sassari, demonstrating his ability to take over games. Known for his ball-handling, court vision (3.9 APG at Hofstra), and defensive intensity (2.3 SPG), Buie is a crafty, high-IQ floor general who thrives in transition. His linguistics degree hints at intelligence and adaptability—traits that translate to reading defenses and adjusting on the fly. Best fit: Teams seeking a backup or starter guard who can create for others and knock down threes.
