elite rim protector, efficient finisher, and proven Big 12 glue guy
In the 2022-23 season at Iowa State, Osun Osunniyi averaged 8.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks while shooting 57.7% from the field, and he was named All-Big 12 honorable mention. He brings real value as a long, athletic center with a strong defensive identity: he was the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year twice before Iowa State, and he became a 1,000-point, 1,000-rebound career guy, which screams consistency and toughness. If you need a smart, high-motor rim deterrent who finishes efficiently and doesn’t need touches, he’s your kind of big.
