Rhode Island’s Parker Aikens is a durable lefty with swing-and-miss upside
Aikens has already shown he can handle a heavy workload, setting Rhode Island’s single-season appearance record as a freshman in 2025 with 29 outings and going 4-2, and in 2026 he has logged a 6.32 ERA with 35 strikeouts while continuing to be used in key spots. He profiles as a valuable **left-handed bullpen piece** because of his durability, experience, and ability to miss bats; recent postseason usage also suggests the Rams trust him in leverage situations. If you want a college arm who brings toughness, versatility, and late-inning potential, he’s a credible fit.
