7-foot rim protector with scoring touch: Peter Jurkin brings size, defense, and untapped upside to ETSU
Jurkin’s appeal is his rare combination of **7-foot size**, a **soft shooting touch**, and **shot-blocking ability**, with ETSU describing him as a player who can score and defend at a high level. He was a top recruit coming out of high school and, in his earlier college run at Indiana, showed flashes as a rebounder and blocker, but injuries and limited game action have kept his overall production modest. If your team needs a true center who can protect the rim and offer developmental upside, he’s worth a look; if you need proven high-volume production right now, the résumé is thinner.
