Sandra Soltes brings veteran catching value and academic consistency to Pitt
A senior catcher for Pittsburgh, Sandra Soltes offers steady, experienced depth behind the plate and a proven competitive pedigree from her Bethel Park roots, where she helped power a title run with a grand slam in a championship game. Pitt has also recognized her as an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete for 2024-25, which points to discipline and reliability in the program’s culture. She is a solid fit for a team that values defensive-minded, mature catchers who can handle pressure and contribute with consistency rather than flashy stat-line noise.
