Southern Utah RB Niko Alailefaleula is a high-upside, big-play, multi-role weapon
Alailefaleula brings more than box-score speed: after appearing in 10 games in 2024, he averaged 16.7 yards per carry on 3 attempts and added special-teams tackles, hinting at value beyond offense. His high school résumé shows why Southern Utah liked him—he was an Alaska Player of the Year-level back with a rare two-way profile, elite physicality, and proven production. The fit question is simple: if your team wants a tough, versatile runner who can help in multiple phases while his role expands, he’s intriguing; if you need a volume bell cow today, he’s still developing.
