A sharpshooting, high-IQ Rice guard with veteran polish
In his Rice career, Dan Peera was a compact 6-foot guard who stood out for efficient shooting, ball security, and winning intangibles: in the 2014-15 season he hit 54.3% from the field and 51.1% from three while averaging 3.2 points in 16.1 minutes, and over his career he posted a 46.5% field-goal mark, a 43.1% three-point mark, and a 48-to-33 assist-to-turnover ratio. Beyond the numbers, the Rice profile points to a reliable, cerebral role player, a four-time conference honor-roll selection and NABC Honors Court member who brings coachability, consistency, and low-drama fit value to a roster.
