Teige Lethert brings VCU a catcher with pop, clutch DNA, and a proven run-production track record
Lethert is a transfer catcher who has shown real offensive upside and timely hitting, including a walk-off three-run homer for VCU in 2026 and a game-winning hit plus multi-RBI power stretches at Milwaukee in 2024-25. He profiles as a catcher who can impact games with both defense and extra-base power, while his prior playing time and awards suggest reliability, maturity, and coachability. For a team, that combination makes him a strong fit if you want a backstop who can handle the position and add middle-of-the-order juice.
