Aaris-Monte Bonds

Chicago State’s rugged, rebound-first forward

Aaris-Monte Bonds is the kind of glue guy coaches love: in the 2020 season, he led Chicago State in rebounding at 4.6 per game while also chipping in 3.3 points per game, and earlier in his career he produced 11.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game at Lamar Community College[1]. He brings board work, toughness, and a willingness to do the dirty work, plus he has shown flashes as a passer and defender. The catch: his scoring has never been his calling card, so he fits best with a team that needs physicality, energy, and extra possessions more than a pure bucket-getter[1].
