Mallory Heise brings tough, efficient guard play to the Bonnies
In the 2025-26 season, freshman guard Mallory Heise has given St. Bonaventure steady backcourt minutes, averaging 4.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 17.7 minutes per game before an injury ended her season early. The fit is intriguing because she was described by coach Jim Crowley as a skilled, physical, efficient guard who makes positive things happen and elevates teammates. She also arrived with a proven scoring résumé from Hilton, where she was a 2,000-point scorer and All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year, so the upside is real.
