Aga Makurat brings size, shot-making, and timely scoring to Vanderbilt
Makurat is a 6-foot-3 guard whose biggest calling card is perimeter shooting, with Vanderbilt noting she hit 29 threes and shot 32.2% from deep in the 2023-24 season, while later coverage pointed to her as one of the team’s better long-range options. She has shown real scoring pop, including an 18-point freshman outing and a 21-point career high in 2025-26, which tells you she can swing a game when her jumper is falling. She’s a fit for teams needing a big guard who spaces the floor, competes, and can provide burst scoring without needing a heavy usage load.
