Sean Martinez brings a contact-first bat and transfer-upside to Boston College
In the 2026 season, Boston College infielder Sean Martinez has been a useful spark with a .152 average in limited action, but his profile is bigger than the box score: he arrived from Saint Peter’s after hitting .306 in the 2025 season with a .413 on-base percentage and .468 slugging, plus solid extra-base pop and speed. He’s a right-handed infielder who brings athletic versatility, a competitive feel, and enough track record to suggest value if BC needs a gritty, low-drama lineup piece who can battle at the plate and move around the diamond.
