CD Gill is pushing for UAB snaps after a strong fall camp
In the 2025 season, CD Gill appeared in just one game for UAB, but the redshirt freshman has reportedly turned heads in 2026 camp and is in line to crack the receiver rotation. At 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds, his game is built on quickness, separation and twitch rather than size, and his compact frame makes him an elusive fit in space. The differentiator here is momentum: he’s gone from near anonymous on the depth chart to a receiver the staff seems eager to get on the field. If your team wants a low-center-of-gravity slot weapon with upside, he’s interesting.
