Tahir Parkins brings blue-collar upside and real dual-meet bite at 141 for Rutgers
In the 2025-26 season, Tahir Parkins has stepped into Rutgers’ lineup as a true freshman and already owns a 1-4 dual mark in Big Ten action, including a sudden-victory win over No. 12 Illinois’ Kole Brower[2]. A two-time Pennsylvania state champion, he arrived with a grinder’s résumé, elite high-school production, and the kind of toughness that shows up in close bouts and high-pressure spots[2][4]. He’s not just a prospect; he’s a physical, improving wrestler with legit upset potential and enough edge to matter in team-dual settings[2][4].
