Brayden Hoben brings size, production, and multi-sport toughness to SDSU’s tight end room
In the 2025 season, Brayden Hoben arrived at South Dakota State as a 6-foot-5, 245-pound freshman tight end with real pedigree: he earned first-team all-state honors and District Offensive MVP after posting 718 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns, while also contributing 42 solo tackles and 17 tackles for loss on defense. That two-way edge hints at a physical, competitive player who plays with urgency, not just polish. For a team, he looks like a high-upside culture fit: productive, versatile, academically driven, and built like the kind of tight end who can grow into a matchup problem.
