John Walker III brings pro-ready size, efficient scoring, and glass-cleaning toughness
In the 2022-23 season, John Walker III was a 6-foot-9 forward who gave Texas Southern real frontcourt production: 12.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 46.7% from the field. He also showed a sturdy two-way profile in his TSU career, with past seasons featuring strong rim protection and high-end finishing, plus a career-high 35-point outburst that hints at real scoring upside. Why care? He’s the kind of fit who can plug into winning basketball with size, efficiency, and defensive activity — a rugged, not-fancy, get-the-job-done forward.
