Brode Susce brings starter-size frame and bullpen bite for JMU
Brode Susce, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound right-hander for James Madison, has worked as a reliable bullpen piece in 2026 and already owns a win in relief this season, showing he can handle meaningful middle-inning work. JMU’s roster lists him as a senior, and his recent usage suggests a pitcher trusted in leverage spots rather than a pure mop-up arm. He stands out for his size, strike-throwing opportunities, and ability to give the Dukes multiple innings when they need stabilizing relief. For a staff looking for a durable, physical RHP with experience, he fits nicely.
