Calvin Ogawa brings legit freshman leg strength to Eastern Illinois
Calvin Ogawa is a 2026 freshman kicker at Eastern Illinois with a clean special-teams profile: he was listed at 6-1, 200 and arrived after a strong prep finish, including a 93% extra-point rate in his senior season at Carlsbad. His value is straightforward—he gives the Panthers a young specialist with upside, soccer background, and camp experience that usually translates well to consistency and calm under pressure. For a team needing long-term kicking stability, he looks like a development piece worth betting on.
