Sydney Bolden brings veteran guard grit and two-way energy to IU Indy
In the 2025-26 season, Sydney Bolden emerged as a steady, defense-first backcourt piece for IU Indianapolis, playing in all 31 games and making 20 starts while averaging 6.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 1.6 steals in 21.5 minutes per game[2]. Her calling cards are intensity, focus and a team-first approach, and her steal rate plus multiple double-digit scoring outings suggest she can impact winning even when the box score is modest[1][2]. She looks like a good fit for a team that values pressure defense, mature role acceptance and low-drama reliability[1].
