Ahmad Gilbert

Ahmad Gilbert brings size, scoring flashes, and veteran wing versatility to Rider

Ahmad Gilbert is a 6-foot-7 guard/wing for Rider whose best calling card is positional size with a scorer’s feel: Rider’s own outlook called him a left-handed, athletic three/four who can handle the ball and shoot it, and his college résumé shows he has been a rotational piece rather than a volume producer, averaging 3.3 points and 1.2 rebounds per game in the 2018-19 season. He matters if you want an experienced, multi-positional backcourt/wing body with shot-making upside and some history as an impact high-school scorer, but the statistical profile suggests he’s more fit as a complementary matchup piece than a primary engine.
