UC Davis’s steady special-teams anchor: Joseph Adema
In the 2025 season, Joseph Adema served as UC Davis’s primary long snapper on punts and field goals, appeared in all 13 games, and handled both units in the FCS Playoffs for a second straight year[3]. At 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, he brings continuity, reliability, and postseason-tested composure to a role where mistakes are loud and precision is everything[1][3]. He’s not a stat-sheet star, but that’s the point: his value is clean operation, trust, and stability on special teams[2][3].
