Mitchell Murphy brings speed-first utility value for Iona
In the 2026 season, Mitchell Murphy’s profile is built around versatile run support and baserunning impact rather than gaudy counting stats: Iona listed him as a senior utility piece, and his appearances include pinch-running, a stolen base, and scoring in key moments[1][4][10]. His statistical line on the season was modest, but the differentiator is roster fit — a flexible, high-motor player who can be deployed in multiple spots and can change a game with his legs[1][9].
