Dontay Bassett brings proven size, efficient scoring, and steady frontcourt production to Weber State
In his Weber State stint, Dontay Bassett showed he can be a reliable interior option, averaging 8.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in the 2020-21 season while scoring in double figures nine times and topping out at 17 points twice; he is a 6-foot-9 center with enough touch to stretch defenses, as reflected in his .324 three-point shooting that season. [1][4] Reports also describe him as a strong, physical big man who was a key piece for the Wildcats, which matters if you need a veteran center who can hold his own inside and contribute without needing heavy volume.
