old-school paint anchor who has long been a walking double-double
In the 2025-26 season, ESPN lists Raasean Davis with 9.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 64.9% shooting, while older NCCU and outlet coverage shows the larger story: he’s a physical, efficient center who finishes around the rim, rebounds his area, and has a history of punishing smaller lineups with big double-double nights. Davis was an All-MEAC-level producer at North Carolina Central and became the second-fastest player in the program’s Division I era to 1,000 points, so the appeal is clear: low-drama, high-efficiency frontcourt production with proven toughness.
