Alex Warden brings size, pedigree, and long-term upside to NDSU’s offensive line
In the 2025 season, Alex Warden was a redshirt freshman offensive tackle at North Dakota State and did not appear in a game, so the story is more projection than production right now. Still, he arrives with real juice: a former Wisconsin all-state lineman, two-time conference offensive lineman of the year, and a state champion, he has the frame and multi-sport background to develop into a tough, high-ceiling FCS tackle. If you want a developmental mauler with upside and small-school trench DNA, he’s worth a hard look.
