Anthony Colandrea gives Nebraska a legit dual-threat jolt at QB
Colandrea entered 2026 as Nebraska’s clear QB1 and brings a sneaky-dangerous, chaos-loving style: he led UNLV in 2025 with 3,459 passing yards, 23 passing touchdowns, 649 rushing yards, and 10 rushing scores while earning Mountain West Player of the Year honors. The fit makes sense if a team wants a mobile playmaker who extends drives, creates off-script explosives, and plays with confidence; the tradeoff is that his gunslinger style can invite turnovers. In short: high ceiling, instant electricity, and a little bit of white-knuckle drama.
