Nate Bergeron is a young SFA righty with room to pop
Bergeron is a 2026 sophomore right-hander at Stephen F. Austin, listed at 6-foot-2, 160 pounds, and the early read is “projectable arm with upside” rather than finished product. In 2026 game logs, he’s already been used out of the bullpen and showed strike-throwing flashes, including a scoreless outing against Nicholls on April 18, 2026. The appeal is simple: he’s a lean, developing arm who could gain more velocity and carry value if the command sharpens. If your staff likes upside and patience, he’s worth a look.
