Jack Ruditzky brings starter grit and a side of old-school toughness to Rider
In the 2026 season, Ruditzky has shown he can take the ball and compete in the rotation, though the results have been uneven: he opened the year as a starter and took a tough early loss against Hofstra, and his 2025 Bronc debut featured 17 appearances, a 6.75 ERA, and 17 strikeouts in 28.0 innings. What makes him interesting is the backstory: he transferred from Ithaca, where he was known as a captain-type competitor, and Rider trusted him enough to give him real innings. If your team values a durable, battle-tested arm with competitive makeup and room to grow, he’s worth a look.
