Drew Yagodzinskie is flashing real swing-and-miss upside for Monmouth
In the 2026 season, Drew Yagodzinskie has shown the kind of right-handed starter profile coaches love: he struck out a career-high six over six hitless innings against Lafayette and later worked six scoreless hitless frames with six strikeouts at LIU, giving Monmouth a true bat-misser with starter stamina. He’s built off a deep prep pedigree — school-record wins and strikeouts, plus a perfect game, no-hitter, and one-hitter in three straight senior starts — which points to competitiveness and poise. The fit? If your team needs a young pitcher with real ceiling and run-prevention upside, he’s worth a hard look.
