Jayden Reed is Indiana State’s early go-to vertical threat
In the 2026 season, Jayden Reed has opened as Indiana State’s most explosive receiver, with 7 catches for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a 73-yard, 1-TD performance at Purdue on Sept. 5, 2026. His best trait is big-play ability—he’s averaging 16.3 yards per catch and has already shown he can flip field position fast. Reed also brings multi-sport athleticism and a competitive edge from his basketball and track background, making him a strong fit for a team that wants speed, toughness, and a receiver who can win downfield.
