Cannon Vandever brings size, left-side versatility, and pedigree to Siena’s infield mix
Vandever is a 6'3", 195-pound right-handed infielder whose value starts with his athletic frame and multi-sport background, but his 2026 Siena production has been modest so far, with a .136 average, .188 OBP, .227 SLG, 1 HR, and 5 RBI in 44 plate appearances. He arrived with strong high-school credentials, including a breakout junior year at Avon and a reputation as a hard worker who aims to become a strength coach, which hints at coachable, development-friendly makeup. He looks more like a long-term upside play than an immediate middle-of-the-order bat.
