Caroline Stanton brings ace-level pedigree to Florida’s circle
Caroline Stanton is a 6-foot right-handed pitcher from Buford, Georgia, and Florida’s No. 1-ranked 2026 recruit, a big clue that the Gators see legit frontline upside in her arm. In 2025, she helped Buford win a state title and posted a 0.82 ERA with 10 strikeouts in 17 innings, while also earning the 2025-26 Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year honor. She has elite strikeout history, poise in big games, and a reputation as a high-upside, championship-caliber competitor—though she’s redshirting in 2026, so the payoff is more “future ace” than instant box-score production.
