North Dakota’s fearless, do-everything veteran guard
Cortez Seales made his mark at North Dakota as a tough, high-motor guard who could score in bunches, rebound like a forward, and swing momentum with clutch shots; in the 2018-19 season, he even dropped a career-high 32 points in a win over Purdue Fort Wayne and repeatedly supplied late-game spark and defensive energy. The takeaway: he fit the “winner’s guard” mold—physical, experienced, and fearless—so if a team needs a dependable tone-setter who plays with edge and isn’t afraid of the moment, he’s exactly the type.
