Carys Platt brings veteran clutch pop and speed to ULM's utility mix
In the 2026 season, Carys Platt was a senior utility player for UL Monroe who started all 57 games she appeared in and hit .287 with three doubles, while earlier ULM coverage showed her setting the tone with a .429 average and .515 on-base rate early in 2024, plus league-best impact as a baserunner. She’s a tough out, aggressive on the bases, and has a knack for timely hits — including a Sun Belt Player of the Week stretch in 2025 after hitting .889 with five runs, two RBI and two steals.
