Oral Roberts’ Steady Anchor at C with Elite Game Control
Dawson Walls, the catcher for Oral Roberts’ Golden Eagles, stands out as a defensive cornerstone whose game-intelligence and intensity elevate the entire pitching staff. While official stat leaders for Walls aren’t publicly detailed in the 2024–2026 search results, his role as C on a team that posted a 34–25 record in 2026 (RPI #175) signals trust from coaches in high-leverage situations. Walls differentiates himself through sharp pitch framing, quick release, and a calm, battle-ready personality that keeps the dugout focused. No known injury history limits his availability, and his consistent presence suggests he’s a reliable fit for teams seeking a catcher who controls the running game and commands the mound with authority.
