Hunter Bell brings a big frame and late-season punch for North Alabama
In the 2026 season, Hunter Bell gave North Alabama a useful veteran look out of the bullpen and as a spot starter, including a strong May outing in which he threw the final 3.2 scoreless innings with three strikeouts. At 6-foot-6, the senior right-hander stands out for size, strike-throwing potential, and the ability to miss bats when he’s on. The caution flag is consistency: his 2025 season showed heavy damage (10.93 ERA in 14.0 innings), so he reads as a high-variance arm with intriguing upside rather than a finished product.
