In the 2025 season, Connor Wolf gave Eastern Illinois a promising young quarterback with legit downfield juice: he completed 87 of 146 passes for 1,074 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions, and his breakout included a program-record 411-yard, 4-touchdown game in his first career start.[6][10][13] At 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, he already looks the part, and the early read is that his best fit is a system that lets him push the ball vertically and keep growing through game reps.[1][7]
