Ole Miss INF with Elite Power-Speed Combo and 1.293 OPS
Laylonna Applin, a 5-8 junior INF for Ole Miss, stands out with a blistering .360 batting average, 20 home runs, 94 RBI, and 27 stolen bases over 115 games, while striking out just 27 times—a testament to her elite plate discipline. Her differentiator is her rare power-speed intensity: in her transfer season at Angelo State, she posted a 1.293 OPS with 14 homers and 17 steals, showing she can dominate SEC play (her 13th freshman HR went off the scoreboard). Beyond stats, Applin’s 'my turn' mentality and small-town Texas grit make her a high-intensity, reliable fit for any team needing a versatile INF who plays with relentless confidence and clutch power.
