Holly Beth Brooks brings SEC-ready catching upside and right-handed pop for Alabama
Brooks is a freshman catcher for Alabama who has earned praise for a strong arm, quick pop time, and right-handed power, with Extra Innings ranking her among the nation’s notable 2025 catchers and power hitters. Alabama’s staff has described her as an athletic catcher who brings real impact behind the plate and at bat, and her high-school résumé included starting at catcher since ninth grade, strong defensive control, and offensive production that made her a 7A All-State selection. In 2026, she has seen limited early-season action, so the intrigue is still about ceiling, but her profile suggests a disciplined, high-energy defender with upside fit for a program that values run prevention and durable catching depth.[3][5][4]
