Luke Anderson brings BYU a versatile, high-contact bat with pop
Luke Anderson is a do-it-all left-side threat for BYU whose calling card is versatility: he can handle outfield or infield work, and his bat has shown real damage since his freshman year. In the 2025 season, he hit .293 with 9 home runs, 39 runs, 52 RBIs, 10 doubles and 4 steals, showing a balanced blend of contact, gap power and clutch production. He was a 2023 WCC All-Freshman selection and, in 2022, earned Utah Gatorade Player of the Year honors. If you want a polished, multi-position player with a competitive edge and sneaky middle-of-the-order upside, he fits.
