Jacob Harvey brings Illinois a homegrown, physical WR with real production
In the 2025 season at Mt. Zion, Jacob Harvey posted 53 catches for 928 yards and 11 touchdowns, then arrived at Illinois as a freshman WR listed around 6-0, 190-200 pounds with active status and no college stats yet. His calling card is easy to spot: reliable ball production, strong senior-year efficiency, and in-state toughness that fits a Big Ten room. The upside is immediate special-teams and developmental receiver value; the caution is that he’s still unproven at the college level and had a fall-camp undisclosed injury note in 2026.
